Sir Angus Grossart and family
Leading Edinburgh banker Grossart, 80, started his working life selling toffee from a Glasgow market stall. He co-founded Noble Grossart in the Scottish capital in 1969 and owns at least 85% with his family and trusts. The bank's profits fell in 2015-16 from £15.6m to £9.6m but assets soared to £209.5m. His daughter Flure joined the board of the £280m business last year as a non-executive director. The family stake is estimated at £238.5m and there is other wealth.
